Beginning on Monday Colby Public Schools will require masks for all students, staff, visitors, and vendors. Children under the age of 2 or individuals with medical exemptions will be excluded.
The administration understands that there are strong beliefs on both sides of this issue. Although we feel that our staff have been doing an amazing job of keeping our students safe we feel that moving to required masks at this time is our way of being responsive to community concerns and needs.
Our goal is to keep children healthy, to keep our staff healthy, and to keep our doors open.
The administration will evaluate this decision on an on-going basis and will notify parents when we are able to make any changes. Click
