ESOL services are made available to students who have a first
language that is not English or have a language other than English in
the home. Under the No Child Left Behind Act, Title III provides
funding to support services designed to enhance English language
learners’ fluency in English and immigrant students’ understanding of
American culture.
If you designated that another language beside English is spoken
at home on the Enrollment form, we need you to fill out a Home Language
Survey. You can get this Home Language survey in the office of your
child's school. The Home Language Survey needs to be completed so we
can provide ESOL services for your child. Interpreters are available or
will be found to help you with this process.
